How HowPha started
We looked at the short video landscape and saw the same problem everywhere - creators doing all the work, platforms taking most of the reward. Talented people in Nigeria and across Africa were building massive audiences and barely seeing a fraction of the value they were generating.
"What if the platform actually worked for the creator, not against them?"
That question became HowPha. We started building a platform where creators could share short videos, go live, and receive gifts - just like the big apps. But we went further: real Cash withdrawals directly to your Web3 account or your local bank account, an ads platform that shares revenue with content creators (coming soon...), and a messaging system designed for genuine connection.
We're not a Silicon Valley company trying to figure out Africa from the outside. HowPha is built here, for here - with an understanding of how creators in this market actually live and work.
